General description

ROb from Cell Applications, Inc. have been used to evaluate a novel hydroxyapatite (HAp)/poly(l-lactic acid) (PLLA) nanocomposite nonwoven fabric, coated with calcined HAp nanocrystals as a material for bone regeneration and demonstrated better spreading on the nanocrystal-coated vs. uncoated surface (Yanagida, 2011). Characterization: Positive for bone mineralization.

Preparation Note

1st passage, >500,000 cells in Rat Osteoblast Basal Medium that contains 10% FBS and 10% DMSO Can be cultured at least 10 population doublings

Quality

Each lot was tested for proper morphology, Population Doublings, Negative for HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, mycoplasma, bacteria, and fungi.
